The Department of French at Heritage College of Education, Owo, provides students with a deep and comprehensive understanding of the French language, culture, and literature. And to produce competent teachers of French language at the primary and secondary schools.
i. A senior secondary certificate, WASC, G.C.E. O’Level and NECO or its equivalent with (5) credit, English language is compulsory (not more than 2 sittings)
ii. A Grade II Teacher’s Certificate (TC II) with credit or merit passes in five subjects two of which must be relevant to the course. Credit/ merit in English Language and mathematics are additional requirements.
iii. All candidates wishing to be considered for admission must meet the selection requirements of an accredited body such as JAMB.
