The Department of Integrated Science at The Heritage College of Education, Owo, is dedicated to providing students with a comprehensive understanding of science, Integrated science emphasizes those concepts which are common to all sciences, the process of science and the skills associated with them.
i. Senior Secondary School Certificate of WABC, NECO, NABTEB or any other equivalent Certificate from recognized examination bodies with credit in five (5) subjects including English Language and Mathematics at not more than two sittings
Grade II Teacher's Certificate (TC II) with credit or merit in five (5) subjects including Mathematics and General Science
iii. All candidates wishing to be considered for direct admission must satisfy JAMB requirements.
iv. In addition to the general requirements, candidates seeking for admission to NCE (Integrated Science) with Senior Secondary School Certificate or GCE 'O' Level, the candidates must possess credit in any three of the following subjects: a) Biology b) Health Science c) Agricultural Science d) Physics e) Chemistry f) Geography
For candidates with Grade II Certificates, the credit or merit must be from any three of the following groups: a) Biology/Health Science/Agricultural Science b) Chemistry c) Physics d) Geography e) General Science/Integrated Science
